Prime Minister Modi Meets UAE's Highest Civilian Honor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first Indian to receive this honor. Prior to this, Prime Minister Modi was awarded the Seoul Peace Prize.

United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to nominate Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his highest civilian honor 'Zayed Medal' on April 04, 2019. This honor has been given to Prime Minister Modi to strengthen the mutual relations of India and UAE.


Kuwait's crown prince Muhammad bin Zayed tweeted it. In his tweet, he said that appreciating his efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries, the President of the UAE has decided to honor him with Zayed Medal.


First Indian to Get Respect
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first Indian to receive this honor. Prior to this, Prime Minister Modi was awarded the Seoul Peace Prize.


Who Got This Respect Before in The World?
Earlier this honor has been received by Queen Elizabeth, George W. Bush, Vladimir Putin, Nicolas Sarkozy, Shi Jinping and Angela Merkel. This important honor of UAE has been received by the Heads of the Father of the P-5 countries but the name of PM Modi has now joined this important league. This respect reflects the strength and confidence that comes in the relationship between the two countries.

The United Arab Emirates is the highest civilian honor, given to the emperors, the President and the Head of State.


Prime Minister Modi Visits UAE
Prime Minister Modi recently visited the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone of Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. During the visit of Modi, several agreements were signed between the two countries. Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates also visited India in 2017.
