How do I become the best Engineer in India ?

Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical, Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmers offered by the IITs. The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2017 application form online.

What is the Pattren of JEE ( MAINS )

JEE (Main) shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.). Candidates may take Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.), or Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.), or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to.


What are the Subjects, type of questions and mode of JEE(Mains)

Paper 1 - B.E/ B.Tech is Objective type 3 hour paper with equal weight age to Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics, The paper can be given computerized and also with pen and paper.

Paper 2 – B Arch/B Planning is objective type 3 hour paper in 3 parts , Part I Mathematics , Part II Aptitude and Part III – questions to test drawing skills , this paper can only be given with pen and paper.


What is the medium of Language to give JEE ( Mains) ?

English and Hindi in all examination enters whereas option og Gujrati is there in centers in Gujarat, Diu and Daman and Dadar and Nagar Haveli

What is JEE (ADVANCE) ?

JEE Advanced is the popular examination conducted by the seven zonal Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB). For the year 2017, JEE Advanced will be conducted by IIT Madras. It is a national level examination through which admission to B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech or B.Tech-M.Tech Dual Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science & Pharmacy is provided in IITs and ISM.

This examination is open for Indian national as well as for foreign national candidates. JEE Advanced is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The candidates can attempt this examination two consecutive times. After declaring JEE Main 2017 result on 27th April, it is clear that top 2,20000 candidates are eligible for Advanced exam. Candidates may get the details about JEE Advanced 2017 including registration, application form, eligibility, exam dates, syllabus and rank list.


What is GATE exam in Engineering Education Sector ?

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science. The GATE score of a candidate reflects a relative performance level in a particular subject in the examination across several years.

The score is used for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g., M.E./M.Tech/ Direct Ph.D.) in centrally funded Indian Institutes of higher education (i.e., Institutes which are provided with financial assistance by MHRD and other Government agencies).

The score is also used by some Public and Private Sector Undertakings for employment processes in India. Direct recruitment to Group ‘A’ level posts i.e., Senior Field Officer (SFO Tele), Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO (S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat is now being done on the basis of GATE scores.

This year GATE 2017 examination shall be held in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates for admissions of candidates from these nationalities in IITs and IISc.
